Vamos a la playa !

Salut la compagnie,

Juste pour signaler que Rwandom part en vacances, ça n’a pas trop de sens pour moi de raconter ma vie en vacances en Australie sur ce blog donc il est temps pour moi de faire une petite pause, vu que je pars dans 3 jours… En vacances… pour un mois… Ouais c'est pas facile je sais...

Non mais parce que, l’Australie, ça va surtout être la plage, la famille, les amis, les kangourous, la plage, les barbecues, le cadre idyllique de cette bonne vieille ville de Perth, les pique-niques au bord de la rivière, la plage, 35 degrés, le footy, la bière (ça ça change pas trop), la plage, l’anonymat, le confort (il en faut… un peu… parfois…), l’océan Indien turquoise, la bonne bouffe, la plage, tout ça, tout ça…

Donc je ne vais pas étaler autant de chaleur au grand jour alors qu’on se gèle en Europe… Et puis le contraste avec le Rwanda serait, disons, déplacé…

La suite de mes aventures au Rwanda, ça sera à partir du 7 janvier 2007. Le temps passe super vite quand même, c’est limite flippant…

World AIDS Day

Did you pay attention to the fact that last Friday was World AIDS Day? Probably not, until this year, I've never really done anything special on that day either. But my life has slightly changed in the last few months as you know, and this year's World AIDS Day will be a day to remember for me...

Big day indeed for Right to Play Rwanda with the conclusion of a volleyball and basketball tournament, specific Right to Play games and activities and a HIV/AIDS quiz, which showed us that the message goes through and that the children are learning about HIV prevention. 200 children were invited but probably a lot more people attended or participated in this very enjoyable day that we used to convey awareness messages about HIV/AIDS.

It also made me realized how comfortable I am here now compared to my first weeks in Rwanda. And that's a nice feeling.
